The main objectives of the project were: to compare the differences between growing the beans in mixtures and growing them on their own, to compare the yield of the components within mixtures, to characterise within mixture reaction of three selected Tanzanian farmers' bean mixtures to a range of important pathogens. These important pathogens have been identified as Angular leaf spot and halo blight. | |
