Host specificity of Apanteles flavipes (Cam) on Chilo sacchariphagus (Bojer) and Sesamia calamistis (Hamp) respectively was investigated and confirmed, contrary to what host records elsewhere reflect. A. sesamiae still shows a high and efficient degree of parasitism (49 per cent) whereas A. flavipes seems to have maintained a mean percentage parasitism (7-8 per cent) over the years. | |
