M 1246/84 is adapted to the humid and subhumid areas, has high cane and sugar yields with low to average sucrose content and is best suited for mid-season to late harvests. M 387/85 is specifically adapted to the superhumid zone, in particular to the rocky B soils, where it performs best at early and mid-season harvests It is a high yielding variety with average sucrose content.
