Abstract (AB)MSIRI and IH have initiated a joint research project on factors influencing yield of drip-irrigated sugar cane. Results obtained on dripline type, dripline placement, and irrigation regime are presented in this paper. Water regime had the most effect on cane growth and yield. Dripline type and placement in a dual row spacing arrangement did not influence yield significantly. Management problems influence the choice of dripline type.
