Abstract (AB)	Three species of Liriomyza have been recorded in Mauritius namely L. brassicae, L. trifolii and L. huidobrensis. Potato which is cultivated in cane interrows or in full stand between cane crop cycles, has particularly been affected by L. trifolii and more recently up to a certain extent by L. huidobrensis. Insecticide treatments are carried out regularly and an integrated pest management strategy has been initiated to control these pests. The use of appropriate selective chemicals is recommended, taking into consideration their effect on the environment.
