| The sugarcane variety M 3035/66 was released for commercial cultivation in 1984. It has high cane yields, and high sugar yields though its sucrose content is average. It is adapted to B, F and H soils of the high altitude zones for middle and late harvests d ates. However due to its susceptibility to gumming, the cultivation of M 3035/66 should be limited to specific regions of the superhumid zone only. | |
