Abstract (AB)Revision of the complex Syzygium cymosum (Lam.) DC. - Eugenia platyphylla Cordemoy in Reunion and of the complex Syzygium glomeratum (Lam.) DC. in Mauritius. Eugenia platyphylla is considered to be a distinct species, renamed S. cordemoyi Bosser and Cadet. Two new species : S. coriaceum Bosser and Gueho and S. petrinense Bosser and Gueho are separated from S. glomeratum whose description is amplifie. Furthermore, a new species, S. mamillatum Bosser and Gueho is described.
