Abstract (AB)Light microscope examinations of extracts from internode tissues of RSD infected canes revealed the presence of branched forms of the RSD-associated organism. They were not observed in extracts from nodal tissues. The organism was more common and branching more pronounced in a variety imported from USA undergoing quarantine that in a variety infected locally.
