Abstract (AB)A formula is derived for calculating the weight of filtered juice using the weight of mixed juice, Brix of filtered juice and the mixture of mixed juice and filtered juice. An estimation of filtered juice weight could be obtained using the Brix of clarified juice instead of the Brix of the mixture of mixed juice and filtered juice in the formula.
