Abstract (AB)Pseudaspidoproctus fulleri (Cockerell) (Homoptera: Margarodidae) is recorded for the first time as a sugarcane pest and is probably the only margarodid known to feed on cane leaves. It has been described from grass heads in Africa. Bermudagrass, Cynodon dactylon, is very susceptible to the pest. Notes are given on the life cycle of the insect and its natural enemies.
