Abstract (AB)The presence of Xanthomonas albilineans in sugarcane was found to be detectable by a serological technique involving microagglutination tests on centrifuged exudates from leaf or stalk tissues. The technique provides means of reliable diagnosis of leaf scald disease when plant symptoms are not clear.
