| The performance of unsoaked and soaked in-shell groundnut seeds of Cabri and Shulamit was compared to than of shelled seeds, under irrigated conditions in two sites. Marked differences were noted in the rate of emergence amongst treatments. There was no significant differences in yield between treatments, but the costs of an additional amount of in-shell seeds at planting and an appreciable increase of labour at harvest would be superior to the cost of hand-shelling seeds before planting. | |
