Abstract (AB)Host specificity of Apanteles flavipes (Cam) on Chilo sacchariphagus (Bojer) and Sesamia calamistis (Hamp) respectively was investigated and confirmed, contrary to what host records elsewhere reflect. A. sesamiae still shows a high and efficient degree of parasitism (49 per cent) whereas A. flavipes seems to have maintained a mean percentage parasitism (7-8 per cent) over the years.
